Getting Here – How to Reach Us

You can easily reach us by car and park directly at the farm. You can also get here comfortably by bus from Brixen train station – and you’ll be just minutes away from the Plose cable car or the old town of Brixen.

From the Vahrn motorway exit

Drive to Brixen and at the first roundabout turn right onto the bypass to Brixen-Süd.
At the roundabout take the third exit to Brixen and at the second roundabout turn right towards Milland and St.Andrä/Plose. Follow the red route uphill for 6 km to St.Andrä.
At the entrance to the village, turn left onto the bypass bridge, then turn left again and follow the red route slightly downhill to the Mairdorf junction (1km).
Follow the signs and turn left into the side road. The Hörmannhof is the 4th house on the left-hand side.

From the Klausen motorway exit

Drive to Brixen and at the third roundabout turn right towards Milland and St.Andrä/Plose. Follow the red route uphill for 6 km to St.Andrä.
At the entrance to the village, turn left onto the bypass bridge, then turn left again and follow the red route slightly downhill to the Mairdorf junction (1 km).
Follow the signs and turn left into the side street, the Hörmannhof is the 4th house on the left-hand side.

From Brixen train station

Buses on line no. 321 run every hour from Brixen railway station to St. Andrä, to the Plose cable car and on to Afers and Palmschoss.
Hiking trail no. 4 leads north from St. Andrä to Mairdorf and the Hörmannhof farm in 15 minutes.
Line no. 322 runs a few times a week from the centre of Brixen to the train station and via the Lüsnerstraße to St.Leonhard. The Mairdorf stop is just 300 metres from our farm.
